New Device Allows Programming to be Stored on Mold Module,Contributes to Easier Validation Process

Anaheim, CA, February 7th, 2011 – Medical device manufacturing equipment leader Vante will be demonstrating their soon to be available SAFFIRE® II this week at medical device conference MD&M West in Anaheim, CA.  The Vante SAFFIRE® System, utilizing precision energy control and heat placement, is designed for catheter manufacturing.

The Vante SAFFIRE® System generator features a large color touch screen allowing the operator to view operating cycle parameters and temperature feedback.  New proprietary inductive heating technology also allows for much higher temperatures while significantly extending the life of the heater.  The Vante SAFFIRE system consists of a model 4200 RF generator and one of two forming platforms, depending on insertion force requirements.  All platforms can be teamed with a variety of tipping, welding, and forming molds for many different applications.
