Automated Catheter Tipping Machine

Machine Solutions’ Automated Catheter Tipping machine enables higher catheter tipping production rates without need for an operator. Vante’s 2-up or 4-up Onyx catheter tip forming system is integrated with robotic arm to enable continuous production of tip formed tubes. This system requires minimal operator interaction for sustained, continuous operation and high volume production of catheter tips.  This system is designed to be highly configurable and has the capability of performing different types of catheter tip forming processes at each successive station.  The PC based control system enables sophisticated programming, data storage, communication and customization to meet a wide range of requirements.

The Vante Onyx bench top catheter tipping system can be upgraded to include this automation package at the customer’s site for minimal disruption of production activities. This Automated Catheter Tipping system is conveniently installed on a customized clean room- compatible cart with locking wheels to provide a portable, self-contained work cell that maximizes work area configurability.
